Georgia: Absentee Ballots Requested, so far...

So far, 762,000 have been requested for the Jan. 5th runoff.
In contrast, the general election total of absentee ballots was 1.1 million.

Registration deadline in Georgia is Dec. 7th for the runoff.
All Georgia votes need to verify they are still registered!

When we they go out to those requesting them? At this point you almost need to allow for two weeks (and even then I don't trust the USPS) so you don't have much of a window.

The fact they're at 762K with two weeks left before the deadline suggests nothing less than incredible turnout.

Georgia is very Republican and so turnout is the game.

mail right now and will vote early in person or on the day of the election in person.

Or they will request their absentee ballots in the coming weeks.

I doubt that all 1.1 million requests came in right away.
