Can we expect that Pres. Biden V.P. Harris will use tweets to augment

traditional announcements?

I'd like to see a return to more formal means of communication, such as press briefings, releases, spokesperson announcing, and using Twitter and other means to further spread information.

Or am I old-fashioned?

They don't need to respond to every crazy tweet, but they do need to use Twitter, imo. gulliver Nov 2020 #6

No, please let it go back to normal. Not twitter. onecaliberal Nov 2020 #9
I agree, but I am probably in the minority on one issue. I don't think we need a daily press briefin Raven123 Nov 2020 #10

I hope they use Twitter only rarely.

And I hope that Twitter throws Donnie off the bus on January 20 at noon.

You know who will have his tiny KFC greased fingers poised over his tweet machine ready to attack. So I suspect tweets will be limited.

But not exclusive the way it has been.

I have a Twitter account, which I don't use. Maybe after impeached traitor is out, I'll use it.

No matter who is President they often devolve into nitpicking over small issues. Yes, there are important things happening. Let the journalists do do their homework, come prepared and ask questions on important issues, pending legislations, policy initiatives etc.. Too often they start with “Don’t you agree that ....” simply designed to get a sound bite or invite the speaker to agree with the questioner.

VP Harris much more sparingly than that, and Pres Biden's tweets will be rarer still. I think the administration as a whole will utilize the more traditional methods of messaging, allowing a much greater range of audience.
