Who is really making major policy decisions such as withdrawing from the Open Skies treaty?

I have never believed that Trump was intelligent or informed on important issues to be making these decisions. I suspect the evil genius? has been Steven Miller, the little Nazi weasel. The architect of anti-immigrant, white supremacy policies iis the prime suspect. And is anyone concerned with the weakening of our foreign relations, by withdrawing from the Middle East And Afghanistan conflicts creating a vacuum to be filled by Putin’s Russia. Not to mention our strained relationship with our European allies. I hope there will be an investigation of these moves by the Trump administration and prosecutions if my suspicions are proven.

and Congress critters. RW think tanks are funded by corporations and the wealthy that OWN the GOP and they are the avenue for influencing government policy and legislation. I think most of it is done through policy papers and emails.

For example, W's people admitted that even their talking points of the day came mostly from emails from Heritage Foundation.

These groups and lobbyists stay conveniently hidden behind the public curtain even though they literally run Republican administrations. Citizens and the media give far too much credit to the idiot parrots like tRump they elect to do their biding.

A good analogy is the old-time carnival puppeteers where the kids only see the cute, crazy puppet with a skillful manipulator behind a curtain.
