I haven't heard much about people staying home at Christmas,

it seems like all the warnings are about Thanksgiving family gatherings and travel. Why? We know it will be just as bad if not worse by Christmas, New Year 2021, etc. Is this due to not wanting to depress too many people even more?

traveled holiday. Probably because it’s a 4 day weekend for so many people.

are actually away at school, and how many are having distance learning. I would think that travel at these times when college campuses pretty much close down--Christmas more so than Thanksgiving--would be largely driven by college students getting home.

Shorter term by removing the typical fall break and starting earlier. They have from T-day to January to be away from campus.

I have one on that schedule. The other kid’s undergrad university also did that schedule.

My boss’s daughter doesn’t have to go back until mid January. That was a very good idea.

We're all staying in our own household bubbles.

Yeah, it will probably be even worse by Christmas.

I'll be alone for both holidays. I agree with you that it will probably be worse by Christmas due to the Thanksgiving people who still aren't taking it seriously.
