A majority of Republican voters surveyed in a new poll would support President Donald Trump running

again in 2024.

A majority of Republican voters surveyed in a new poll would support President Donald Trump running again in 2024.

The poll from Seven Letter Insight found 66% of self-identified GOP voters said they would support another bid for president, while 41% of independents and 26% of Democrats said the same.

Of the people surveyed, 37% were Republicans, 26% were independents and 37% were Democrats. The public affairs firm surveyed 1,500 respondents online from Nov. 10-19 with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

Seventy-seven percent of Republicans surveyed said they want Trump to guide the Republican party and 67% support Trump peacefully transitioning power to President-elect Joe Biden’s administration. Eighty percent of independents and 85% of Democrats felt the same.

......

WTF?
And who are these 26% of Democrats that support Trump running again? Or even the 15% of Democrats that don't support Trump peacefully transferring power? Strange

But as far as Republican voters, for the most part, Trump gets a pass, even after the COVID deaths, worst in the world. And cases going up as he golfs. Whining and crying about the election results, and wasting court time and worse, trying to influence State politicians to refuse to certify, and appoint other electors. Thank gawd its not working. But that he tried it, even THAT doesn't make them stop and go hmmmmmm?

No?
Then what? Pressuring a foreign leader to do a scandalous hatchet job on his rival's son? That wasn't even quid pro quo, it was downright extortion using Ukraine's rightful money for arms to defend against Russia.
Still nothing?

Clearing protesters forcefully so he could walk up to a church and hold up a Bible upside down? Evangelicals love a man who only loves himself. He even admits how he doesn't need God, can't name one verse. He has never pretended to be all godly before this. It was the hedonistic playboy capitalist that cheated in business and wives, and went bankrupt multiple times. A fraudulent Trump University scam, and a Trump Foundation scam. Both to which he was penalized for fraud. But the only fraud they care about is the deep state cannibal society that sent the ballots to Maduro in Venezuela who switched 10's of thousands of ballots, and then sent them back. But....somehow they didn't think to also flip the State's election candidates while they were at it. Stupid Libtards.

Especially after the Hollywood Access tapes.
I was wrong. I thought all women would drop him instantly. But over 50% of white women weren't sufficiently bothered by that, go figure. I was already sick to my stomach watching him rise through the primaries by using disgusting insults, a foul mouth, falsehoods on what he'd accomplished in the past, as well as what he'd accomplish in office. No time for golf that's for sure.

But it didn't work. Up until the very end I kept trying to tell people not to be complacent - and got smacked around a fair amount for it.

For a long time I thought Trump would have to lose. He was consistently behind in the polls. The H.A. tapes. His continuing boorishness.

But I shared your opinion in the last few weeks. I was mocked in here as a "concern troll". I was starting to buy what Michael Moore was selling. I still didn't quite believe it when it was happening though, on election night '16.

Trump made it the closest out of any of the Republicans running. It was a Republican year. Any Republican was destined to win. Had it been Jeb, it would not have been as close.

I was thinking perhaps its a case of Republicans that have registered as Democrats, as they do in some States. There must be a lot of them in Kentucky the amount of registered Democrats that turned the votes to Mitch.

In 2005, most Democrats wanted Al Gore to run again. By a huge margin.

Remind me about Gore's second run at the Presidency? Wait. That didn't actually happen. How about those who thought John Kerry should run again in 2008?

My point is, that those who think Trump should run in 2024 are totally irrelevant.

Really, that's the beginning and the end of it. No further understanding is needed, and even if you tried to understand, they would mock and attack you for the attempt.

Fuck them. Bulldoze them all into some useless corner of the country, like Trump's shithole golf crapyard, and leave them there.

The racists and fascists would not support her strongly. She would appeal more to some traditional Republican constituencies, sure. That’s more than offset by by her likely weakness among the social base what some might call “blue collar conservatism.” Trumps strength came or comes from his baggage, not in spite of it.

Go back, watch video and compare the 2016 and 2020 Trump. The deterioration is so noticeable it's almost shocking. Fred Trump, Sr was clinically diagnosed with dementia/alzheimers at age 86 or 87. Think what Trump will be like in another 4 years when he turns 80. He'll be even worse is my bet.

...you can fool some of the people all of the time, and they formed Trump’s disturbingly large and persistent constituency. Given the certain predations of age, his mental illnesses, and pending litigations, I really doubt that we’ll see Trump himself in four years, but rather a smarter, slicker, more presentable and savvy clone spawned from the belly of the beast...
