That will be a hell of a movie from being elected with the help of Putin, his impeachment and ending in an attempted coup.
It would probably have to be a mini series to cover all the crimes he has committed, just too much to cover in one episode.

Key features, “The Big Short” and Vice”; He’s got his finger on the political zeitgeist and can communicate his message well, even to the uninitiated; he knows how to make the minutia of political and economic wheelings and dealings entertaining and absorbing. With his absurdist streak, he’d be able to get across the gravity of what Trump’s done, while showing how ridiculous it all has been.

Even though Trump and his ilk aspired to bring the Reich to America, they’ll always been seen as a parody of fascism. There’s not a single one among them who has the presence to be an intimidating on-screen presence. So you need a filmmaker who’s gonna lean in to that, go through it, and get to the seriousness underlying all of their abuses.

McKay’s the guy, hands-down. I’d be surprised if he didn’t already have something in the works for this occasion.
