56 days is such a long time.

It's difficult to feel reassured when the only strategy seems to be to just wait it out and he will move out. I do not favor such passive measures but I do not know what can be done to be pro-active?

We do know that nothing is predictable. We can only wait and react when it happens.

And hope nothing catastrophic will happen?

I avoid watching all TV/cable news shows since Nov 3rd as the constant blah blah blah is nauseating. Not much we can do except support each other in forums like this and have some fun on Parler and Stormfront

Time is often perceived differently and I'm not referring to Einstein's observations of time dilation.

Think of it this way: We were counting down the days until the election. Suddenly, it's behind us!

The same feeling will occur when we get to the end of January.

While Trump could do a lot of bad things before leaving office, he's also got less and less influence every day. Even Republicans are moving on from him.

The new sheriff is coming into town. Have faith, my friend.

I think you are right that he has less influence with each passing day.

A responsible House and Senate would hold him accountable until the day he leaves. They would inform him that even if he only has one day left in his term, they can still kick him out of office, if he abuses his office to the detriment of our nation. If they were responsible...?
