https://kbjr6.com/2020/11/13/minnesota-ranks-1st-in-voter-turnout/DULUTH, MN-- Minnesotans proved they love a good tradition during the 2020 election, said Iron Range Political Analyst Aaron Brown.
"It's something that I think is baked into our culture, the local culture quite a bit," said Brown.
According to Star Tribune, eight in 10 eligible Minnesotans voted in this year's election a rate not seen in 60 years and once again, so far, the highest in the nation.
Brown said Friday, aside from voter integrity, Minnesota's voter laws make it easy to have your voice heard.

They mucked up the procedures, as they so often do, so the MN Supreme Court threw out their petition - and in the meantime the canvassing board certified the election. Biden won by 233,000 votes, so this quickly-aborted performative litigation wouldn't have gone anywhere even if they hadn't screwed it up at the outset. But that's not why they did it, is there? For decades MN has had consistently squeaky-clean, efficient elections with remarkably high turnout and this was no exception. The GOP just wanted to throw sand in the gears, but fortunately they suck at being saboteurs.
Shortly before the meeting, the Minnesota Supreme Court rejected a petition by a handful of Republican lawmakers and candidates and several voters who sought a temporary restraining order to delay the canvassing boards vote, alleging a variety of problems with the election.
The order by Chief Justice Lorie Gildea said the plaintiffs provided no evidence that they had properly served it on all parties.

(146,255 posts)Minnesota elections are handled about as well as any election could be handled. The GOP and Trump's court filings have all been nonsensical and have rightly been denied by multiple courts.
This election is OVER!
