1. Yes, same for me. I have to "Rec" the post and then refresh the page, and then

it shows up that I rec'd it.

EDIT: Thank you for posting this. I was wondering if it was an issue with my mouse.

41. Update on these problems

It seems that whatever is happening is being caused by a general issue with our hosting provider, which is affecting sites hosted on servers in the mid-Atlantic region (that includes DU).

Hopefully they will be able to solve this soon, but unfortunately there's nothing we can do ourselves to fix it. Performance will likely be intermittent until the issue is resolved...

45. The Rec button works for me, but page content moves all over.

I just updated to the latest Is for my iPad and now the DU content moves everywhere on the screen with just a touch. It will frequently and suddenly also change size so the the whoe page is about 6-point type. I don’t think it’s the OS because this is the only site where it happens. Is anyone else having similar problems on an IPad?

I wouldn't be upset about it - NOT that I am suggesting anyone is butthurt over this issue. What I mean is that it would take an awful lot more than that for DU to lower my opinion of DU.

Considering the hostile environment in which it "lives" and the size and complexity it has reached, it works REMARKABLY well. I am always grateful for every aspect of this wonderful "place."

68. The REC button is a little sticky sometimes, but if you refresh the page you'll find that it did

indeed register. Just don't hit it an even number of times or it will turn on and then turn off again.

register. Same for the Bookmark feature. It did not highlight, but it was included in my bookmarks. I tired to write admins, but that was also out. Last night and today all good. Happy Thanksgiving.
