This is all about marketing a brand. Trump wants a post-presidential presence in politics (it's a great money spigot) and he wants his fans to be engaged and HOPING for a miracle, when the only miracle is how his fans still flock to him after he's proven himself to be completely divorced from the political process. He's vying for power after Biden's inauguration. He'll have a lot of legal problems to overcome, however, and when those begin, he'll steadily lose his audience.
