New Mexico lawmakers on Tuesday passed a bipartisan coronavirus relief bill that will deliver a one-time $1,200 check to all types of unemployed workers and up to $50,000 for certain businesses. The bill also provides smaller stimulus checks to immigrants without legal status in the country and dependents, as well as additional funds for food banks, virus testing and contact tracing efforts.

(7,602 posts)suit. In March, Texas received $12.84 billion in federal coronavirus relief funds as part of the CARES Act. So far, the state has spent $7.14 billion with $5.7 billion remaining before the Dec. 30 deadline when those funds would be returned to the federal government, if not appropriated.
Our pitiful Governor (Gregg Abbott) is too damn stupid and cold hearted to do anything for the people of Texas.
The shitkickers and hillbillies in my State disgust me.
