I didn't really believe it at the time. Never cross my mind that we would have CV.

Close to the election, I was cautiously optimistic... But prone to panic attacks thinking that 2016 could happen again and we'd be stuck with this for four more years. I didn't think I could have made it

Trump time for the previous years was already
s-l-o-w, then add in cv19 time? Even s-l--o---w----e-----r.

He will not allow anything to get a headline but himself. He pervades every aspect intentionally even if the story is disastrous for him he only cares that hes all anyone can talk about EVERY FUCKING DAY. And after he's satisfied every news channel is talking about him he starts tweeting. Its fucking exhausting and yes he's been more in our consciousness in just 4 years than W ever was in 8.

I'm in a weird dynamic where the Bush years defined my formative years. I was just a kid when Bush won in 2000 and his presidency felt like it was 20 years. But isn't that how time shifts? Eight years to a kid feels like thirty. Obama's presidency went by way faster than Bush's for me, but I think that was because I was becoming an adult. Trump's actually went by a lot quicker than I expected. it feels like yesterday I was watching the 2016 returns shocked at the results. Or trying to avoid his inauguration speech while at work.

His pardoning of Michael Flynn doesn't outrage me as it once would have. It's to be expected of this cretin. And there will no doubt be a real flurry of these to come.

Most will be of the " no surprise variety." The ones we don't necessarily expect will help to provide a broader range of the corruption and outright treasonous acts he'll attempt, and ineptly, to cover up.

At least he didn't start two wars of aggression like the last popular vote losing GOP president did. I've no doubt that as a final " fuck you" to Biden and the country it's crossed his mind.

I'd like to think that our military would tell him in either a firm but polite manner that that's not happening. Or better yet, tell him to go fuck himself.

This creature has made me miserable and ashamed of my country for four years. I just want it over.
