and no matter how many times I have seen this.. I laugh every time.. especially when Les says the turkeys "mounted a counter-attack...

(11,941 posts)it was almost a documentary. Oh, the technical aspects were all wrong, but the characters were spot on. The burned out Boss Jock (Dr Johnny Fever was based on Skinny Bobby Harper from WQXI), the cool night jock, the squirrely news guy, the clueless GM, the sex pot receptionist, the sales slug, the sweet girl, and the PD trying to make it all work. I worked with everyone of those people at one time or another sometimes at the same station. The only one missing was the nut case engineer who rarely showered.
