two empathetic human beings filled with wisdom and gentleness is such a stark contrast to the suffering of these last 4 painful years.

Normal looking people in well-tailored clothes, who obviously love each other. No bizarre, orange make-up or weirdo hair on either of them. No "Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS" outfit on the missus. (Jill, that color on you is FABULOUS!) They're both smiling, and not pushing the other away. I didn't realize how much I missed even normal appearances until now, let alone the kindness and decency. My only disappointment is that the DOTUSes were not included in the video. Moar Champ and Major, plz.

My first Thanksgiving without my mother and my wife. Lost by caner and divorce. I'm not seeing our kids either this year my home is silent. They're having their own get together, though our son is an essential worker doing a shift today so he has to miss out a bit too. President and first lady Biden's message resonates with me and is much needed. Had they not won, the year would have ended so badly.
