It is God's will, God uses flawed people- The evangelical meltdown over Trump loss is contradicting

what they have said in the past about their reasons for supporting Trump. Great analysis at the end of the video clips re: God's omnipotence. You can't have it both ways. You said Trump's presidency was God's will. Did God not exercise his will in this election?
You said God uses flawed people to convey his message, that was the reasoning for getting behind trump. If that's the case, since you see Biden as flawed. So wouldn't the same hold true? God using another flawed person to convey his message?

They have no authority to interpret ‘god’s will’ - as if ANYone can. Your right to pontificate ends at your own cerebral cortex; we fucking well don’t wanna hear it. Those who try to force their religiosity upon anyone else deserves a divine foot up their ass.

Those pinheads may convince themselves that gawd was using the flawed orange menace to carry out some divine plan, but they never pulled the wool over this old boy’s eyes once. They supported that bloated fartsack because he was persecuting the people they don’t like. End of story. No amount of logical gymnastics will ever convince me otherwise.

.

Mental Splitting--a DSM-IV psych issue. Strong Christians use it to resolve 300 biblical errors.

The impact on Christianity was exacerbated after the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, where many different churches got together and affirmed that the Bible is without Error. Previously, the position was that the Bible was divinely inspired by God and written by fallible man, which could explain away the over 300 errors in it, but once that meeting in the late 70s occurred, churches started pushing that the Bible is without error.

The intelligentsia of the churches and Christian colleges protested and were forced to either adopt this sham or resign. As such, most left their positions in protest. This created a brain drain and opened the door for a bunch of uneducated religious hacks to fill the voids. Church leaders began to fabricate backstories that never existed to build false narratives of why these errors exist.

Church congregants also know of the many errors in the Bible and this is what causes the mental conflict. Akin to I know this is wrong, but to be a devout evangelical I must believe the stories I'm being told. This also grooms the congregants to accept other false information and adopt it as true.

are so involved with government and candidates for that government, I believe it's time for the government to get involved in these mega-churches, particularly their finances. Tax the ever living shit out of them. Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and all that. Churches that build huge portfolios of cash, stocks and property are not fulfilling the basic tenets of christianity. The IRS should relieve them of that temptation, thus saving them from god's wrath.

followed by complete amnesia over the bogus prophesizing by the conmen/women. Videos of all the bullshit will have been placed there by Satan/the Antichrist/ the Deep State to confuse Christians.

We've seen this in apocalyptic cults when the day of the end of the world has been announced and it doesn't happen. Ask them about it, they'll just walk away from you.

I don't know what it will take to pry people away from these charlatans. If we don't, we're going to see a lot more cyanide laced Koolaid parties. I can see it coming.

... their inaccuracies and focus on the very rare times that prayers seem to be answered.

She called me almost two weeks ago to tell me about a 700 Club prayer hotline that she had contacted about our sister-in-law recently hospitalized with Covid, saying that she KNEW there would be a full recovery soon because the prayer "was so powerful!"

Now our sister-in-law is on a ventilator in an ICU, going "code blue" twice yesterday morning. She was revived and could still make it home eventually, I hope, but it's amazing how often my sister's prayers work out horribly.

Then it's just "God's will". Rinse. Repeat.

My sister was wailing about our sister-in-law yesterday, but I secretly wondered if part of her crying was yet another prayer let-down for HER.

And I'd be some kind of "unfeeling monster" if I pointed out how her invisible powers didn't work out so well yet AGAIN. So I just try to lend a sympathetic ear while privately shaking my head.

Edit:

What if science worked like that? "Our theory is still correct, but God's will made yet another exception this time!" If instead they viewed nature as God, then maybe they could at least view their magical entity as very consistent and HONEST! And perhaps not have so much animosity towards science and TRUTH?

I honestly wonder sometimes if their brainwashed could declare gravity as a hoax? How far can it go?
