Sen. David Perdue traded thousands of dollars in bank stocks while serving on the Senate Banking Committee, even as he helped pass bills benefiting the financial industry.
If this isn't corruption, I don't know what is. Georgia voters must vote him out of office on Jan 5.

Let alone make trades. The conflict of interest is pretty obvious.
And if recuses himself from every hearing or vote, he's not very useful as a chairman.
The act of stock ownership in the industry one oversees seems anathema to good government.
