(18,402 posts)are good for your mental health (especially in avoiding news of Trump and COVID), they may well be of benefit in warding off infection. And, of course, youre sitting at home watching TV for endless hours, so thats doubly protective.
That and melatonin have gotten me through this year, relatively unscathed. Thanks to Fred and Ginger, Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrae, and all the others.

(2,486 posts)contain ephedra - that could be dangerous for some people, they also have licorice root that can increase blood pressure. People taking these formulas need to either monitor themselves or have someone monitor them. Herbs are not necessarily benign. Yes I was trained in medical herbalism, but I don't practice. I remember a little bit though.

Western medicine tends to put down TCM out of mostly ignorance and bias.
