(34,133 posts)has me outside singing to my long gone doggie Scully. I saw it up there earlier so I know when I go up and close the barn I will be singing her special. We came home from putting her to sleep on a 60 mile, sad drive but the moon was full and now a Scully moon is what we call it. Every full moon now for 6 years. I miss that girl like crazy.
It is beautiful tonight. Just wonderful.

(14,496 posts)Doing some last minute garden soil prep and getting some plants in the ground, up 'till dark. Looked up and saw that beautiful moon and that was a little reward for my work.
Lots of stars visible too, even in town here in north central Kentucky.......

(2,039 posts)beautiful it looked. At first, it was backlighting some cool clouds, then it was backgrounded by clouds, just really awesome. Then I saw your post and it made me feel such a nice sense of community to know that we were all looking at the same moon. Which led me to remembering this sweet song from the movie with Fievel the mouse. The first video is from the Fievel movie. The second is Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram. Enjoy!
