Just another reminder of how important those two Georgia Senate seats are: With a 50/50 Senate and VP Harris possessing the decisive vote, the Senate could use the budget reconciliation process to reverse legislation like Trump’s tax giveaways to the super-wealthy. Unlike with the issue of increasing the size of the Federal Judiciary, including SCOTUS, this would nor require any rule changes, which conservative democrats like Joe Manchin have already ruled out.
