I remember the interview he gave a little while back when he was asked what history would say about him and about Trump. His smarmy response was "History is written by the winners."

He's very busy erasing stuff so history can't come back and bite him on the ass.

The one good thing Trump has done is to ruin some people like him. No one will ever take Barr seriously again. Jeff Sessions will never hold office again. Rudy Giuliani has become a joke. Trump also pretty much crushed the presidential potential of people like Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, and Chris Christie.

You are probably correct that he doesn't have any criminal liability. He's been very cautious about that.

Although he did potentially perjure himself while testifying in Congress.
