I do not think that's her role. It would be inappropriate. She will not have dual loyalties. She will not have a conflicting mission, nor will she be responsible for mixed-messages. She is there to serve the Biden/Harris administration.

Take a look at this:

https://govtrackinsider.com/our-ideology-score-placed-kamala-harris-as-the-most-liberal-senator-in-2019-bbd25493ca72

Our ideology score placed Kamala Harris as the most liberal senator in 2019

I would think the last thing Harris would want to do is "mute her progressive voice"!!!

It's more about who the Senators co-sponsor bills with, rather than how left-ish their actual views are. Seems to be more about partisanship vs. crossing the aisle, I think. And according to their own graph https://www.govtrack.us/about/analysis#ideology, Bernie is actually the most left-leaning, with Harris as #4, after Gillibrand and Merkley.

So I'm not sold - I'd still guess that Bernie is the most left/prog of the Dem. Senators. There must be a better measure out there which looks at, say, 10 progressive agenda items (M4A, Green New Deal, etc.) and sees what they support, but I haven't seen a scale like that. Overall, though, it's not a biggie.

Bernie and Elizabeth both need to remain in the Senate. We cannot lose their voice and vote there.

But this Sanders will represent, to some degree, Bernie's progressive ideals.

I do believe S. Sanders will promote the administrations progressive platform.

and the mood of the nation. We should hope that Biden will also act as if he has a deep and abiding respect for the Rule of Law, and appoints an AG who will attend to meting out justice to Trump Administration lawbreakers. That's essential if Biden wants to have mid-term victories to pad the Dems' lead in Congress. His AG must SHOW that accountability for lawbreakers is a serious endeavor. Talk won't do it. There should be none of this "move forward" bullshit. The only "moving" should be Trumpers moving into prison.

Lord. GMAFB!

That's a backhanded passive-aggressive insult of Biden if I ever saw one. The implication, obviously, is a belief, or insinuation, or accusation that Biden does NOT possess such a ethical trait. Seriously... what good purpose does that serve?
