It's Boris Johnson's big stroke of political virility. Now he's just a big stroke. Eyeball_Kid Nov 2020 #1

He promised a Brexit deal. That's what got him elected.

Brexit was always a poor idea, pushed by Putin and Cambridge Analytica. UK voters got sold a bill of goods, led by Boris Johnson. Now it will be a disaster.

other than running the clock out. And the gigantic stupidity and self harm will take place -- precisely on schedule. Thoughts and prayers.

And this after Johnson campaigned in the last general election on having an "oven-ready deal", just to add to the long stream of falsehoods the Brexiters have spouted over the past few years.

Of course, even after the deadline, the wrangling won't be over. There'll have to be some sort of deal even if it takes years to thrash out. Meanwhile, I'm not looking forward to us crashing out of the EU in January.
