On Joe this AM, they said that Neera Tanden was offered up as the "sacrificial" nominee as
the GOP will block at least one nominee to satisfy the base (LOL, like the base is ever satisfied - they think the race is stolen).
I don't recall who said it, but I don't think that it was Joe.
I know that it was noted that one GOP Senator said that she was a non starter as "she criticized Republicans"
Of course the Greenwald crowd is clutching their pearls over her nomination to begin with...
