BREAKING: Wisconsin has certified Joe #Biden as the state’s winner. It is the last of the key battlegrounds to certify, solidifying Biden’s 306-232 win. He will officially become the president-elect on December 14th when the electoral college votes.

NEW: Wisconsin has certified its presidential election results, confirming that President-elect Biden won the state.

Biden won by more than 20,000 votes, which was confirmed by a recount of the state’s two most populous counties initiated by the Trump campaign.

8. There's technically a little more admin work to do

The Elections Commission will take the Chair's signed statement of canvas (today's effort) and draw up the certificate of election paperwork at tomorrow's meeting to send to Governor Evers who will of course sign it.

So more winning to come.

15. looks like maybe they just needed the commission's staff for the paperwork.

Not the commission itself.

The Wisconsin law is apparently interesting in it's text in that only the chair of the commission is specified as needed rather than a full commission vote, and she did her part today.

Guess she had the staff draw up the paperwork right away for the Governor to sign.

Maybe they're trying to give our right wing Supreme Court cover to ignore the lawsuits.
