Trump retweeted a tweet that says, "why bother voting for Republicans?"
..........
This is going to be interesting, as predicted, hes turning on them.
Will they finally realise they were conned and used.

(6,008 posts)... only in this version they're both assholes.
I think a lot of them knew it would happen eventually. They were just hoping they could hold on for as long as possible. It must be maddening knowing its going to happen, but not knowing who or when.

(115,579 posts)by hook or by crook. Their attempts to steal the election through voter suppression, gerrymandering and insane lawsuits failed and he's very, very unhappy.

(11,495 posts)his paranoia is telling him that they are not "loyal" to him, and his narcissistic personality is telling him to throw them all under the bus, and things will only get worse.
Mitch and the boys better be prepared for trumps revenge, it won't be a pretty sight!

Imagine during midterms how he will demand money raised go towards him.
If he hears of Republicans raising large amounts of money he will demand it for himself.

(37,748 posts)"I ain't voting for him again... he's only in it for himself" (surprised the crap out of us, as he'd gone full Limbaugh in the mid-nineties). He's still a Republican, but implied he voted for Biden when we spoke early this month (I don't really ask too much about the politics of my friends... if they offer info, so be it. Otherwise, I'd rather remain ignorant of who they vote for).
Anyways, so yeah... I think there may be a realization that soon hits a small portion of the half-wits (making them two-thirds wits?) when supporting trump becomes too inconvenient/embarrassing even for them.

And we see the monster in his native habitat lay down the cloak of disguise and start cussing in Vogon poetry, the blurt of his homeland.
All they payoffs hes taken to fuck up the environment- do you suppose his patrons will think hes done his best and should be given the rest? Or will they come for repayment? And his other secret benefactors and lenders? Kind and patient, do you guess?

In fact, I doubt he ever cared at all about the Republican Party or its legislative agenda -- except as a vehicle for his own personal wealth and fame.

(14,164 posts)Wouldn't that be fantastic!
If Trump continued with this misguided tantrum against his own party for daring to follow the election laws. If enough Red Hats sit at home in a huff along with Diaper Don, and we win both seats? What a laugh riot that would be. Just like they take pleasure from Libtards tears, I would take pleasure at Trumptards tears when they realize later what they did, when with the majority, Democrats would be much freer to reverse more of the damage left by Trump, and to be able to push a more progressive mandate.
But is Joe Manchin our new Joe Lieberman? Technically a Democrat but who enjoys the self indulgence of bathing in the warm embrace of both parties fighting for his vote

(15,142 posts)He of course cares nothing for the Republican party. They never were anything to him other than a useful tool, just like any other people in Trump's life.
That tool hasn't proved as useful as it was supposed to be. Republicans obviously didn't work hard enough to steal the election for him. They must be punished for that.
But Biden must be punished too, for daring to go around acting like he won, and doing presumptuous things like making personnel choices for a Biden administration!
So how does Trump punish Republicans and Biden at the same time? He wants to hurt the Republicans by losing them the Senate in Georgia, but that would make Biden happy! Oh, what a terrible dilemma!
