All Of The Sudden Republicans Want To Examine Biden Nominees Tax Returns

"SNIP.....
Republicans have now decided the tax returns of nominees and people in power matter, as they want to scrutinize Bidens nominees.
Outgoing Senate Finance Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) wants to examine Biden Treasury nominee Janet Yellens tax returns:
Just a few months ago in September, Grassley complained Trumps tax returns got out, That information should have never gotten out, and whoever got it out violated the law
All Ive got is the president saying hes paid millions of dollars in taxes, and youve got the New York Times printing what they think, and we dont have the facts to make a judgment. But let me say that Id be very concerned about how it got out.
Republicans defended Trump and his nominees hiding their tax returns and brushed off any red flags that were in the financial dealings of Trump and his cabinet nominees.

(32,816 posts)No one cares. They can never ever be trusted. Theyve shown no care about the shocking number of deaths across the country. Some senators more worried about dumping stock than warning Americans about how deadly COVID really was. Republicans are morally, ethically and decency bankrupt. They REALLY need to be told to sit down and shut up. Democrats need to be in front of microphones every day telling Americans the reason they dont have food, or extended unemployment and help with rent/mortgage is republicans. The House passed a bill in May, this is just fucking ridiculous already.

(1,442 posts)the Biden Administration should simply tell the Republicans they are sorry, but they can't release those tax returns because they are currently being audited by the IRS.
