same capacity to become murderous filth. You know the old saying that religion helps good people be better and bad people be worse. Good people are passionate in good ways. Bad people have become passionate against others, and those prone don't actually need religion for that when so many other excuses abound.

Religion of money? Power? Fame? Of a cult of personality - be it trump, or anyone else? Or to a monetary system? Or country, etc, etc, etc, etc, Plenty of bad w.o the sky gods involved.

but I studied history in college. For the most part, man is a stupid, murderous ape that continues to destroy the only known biosphere in the universe. So sad for the other species.

What gets me is that grownass people squint up at the sky and see a monstrous male fantasma that sucks up dead people and CGI's them into Children of the Corn but can't do a single observable thing in plain sight no matter how fervently his worshipers twist reality.
