Sure I am thrilled Biden won, but I get depressed when I realize Trump got 74 million votes

What a STAGGERING, earth-shattering thought that is. It is such an emotional letdown to realize that so many Americans really are that ignorant and/or evil. Truth DOES hurt sometimes. DEEEEP SIGH.... We just crossed over into… the Twilight Zone

Some alleged liberals mouthed "conservative" lies and smears about Hillary Clinton to the point where I had to downgrade my assessment of us generally. That broke my heart.

I’m pissed at them, but they are the same people who don’t want to help others that have always been here. More turned out because they felt Joe Biden might actually try to level the playing field and they don’t want competition. They know Trump is an idiot and government is ineffective and gridlock, but that is exactly what they want. Biden has to demonstrate that good government benefits them (clean energy jobs, etc).

Just the fact alone that Biden beat him is enough to make me realize how fortunate we are, at least for the time being.

Plus, I still have doubts that Trump really got 74 million votes. Even if he did get that number of votes, at least it wasn't enough to overcome the record number of votes that Joe got.

Consider it a win and move on. Republicans are quite good at this in my opinion. Even if they win by one vote, they move forward with sickening confidence. With Biden's win, I trust the DNC or smart Democrats somewhere are doing a postmortem of the 2020 election to avoid repeats of areas where we fell short.

to Putin meddling. Trump didn’t win because Russian meddling was not sufficient.

Americans from all corners of the country had decided that they had had enough of Trump. Republicans, Democrats, Independents, new voters, etc.
