Who tried to bribe Trump for a pardon? Why did Barr develop 1/2 a spine?

Why did Barr publicly announce that the Justice Department saw no hints of wide-spread voter fraud? Was he appalled by the potential pardon bribe? Whose crimes would be so heinous in Barr's eyes that he would finally partially break from Trump?

Ghislaine Maxwell???

If I was dishonest representative for Ghislaine Maxwell, who is facing dozens of years in prison, I would approach Rudy Giuliani with the possibility of a pardon for cash.

There are thousands of possibilities but Maxwell comes to mind immediately. And her crimes would be several bridges too far even for Barr.

I suspect Barr sees no "legal" way to circumvent the election. He had to come out at some point and say it. It's amazing how quickly the Martial Law people started with their new mantra. If the right people nodded their heads at Trump, he might try it. But I think the risks, even for him, are far too great.

I suspect this person offering the bribe (or being told what the cost of a pardon is) is not well known. Just my thought.

I was unfamiliar with who was being represented by Alan Dershowich.

... this scheme. Maxwell is surely one.

But I take issue with your characterization of Barr.

He has no spine, no morals, no honor and no ethics. His is the single biggest piece of worthless shit that has ever served in our government. He should never be described as anything less.

That had not come close to occurring to me and may help to inspire a bit more out-of-the-box thinking.

Thanks!

My guess is that he knows that his name has come up I this bribery scheme. He is trying to extricate himself from it by breaking with Trump.
