Also liked the cute (!) Covid cartoon. Who'da thought, but charming and spot on. Humanity's getting vaccine for Christmas, or close enough.

(2,937 posts)The trumper not wearing a mask and not getting a vaccine is perfect. I'd like to isolate him, put MAGA on his t-shirt, and post it all over town. Totally nails the trumper, that's how I see them as a collective.

To think that 74 million people could have voted for this monster is mind boggling.
Thank goodness for voter registration drives, and all the things that somehow influenced 81 million to vote for Biden! Biden is a good, decent man who will go in there and be president for all Americans.
You know what we need? A new Fairness Doctrine. One for this twenty-first century. One that takes social media into account. And it needs teeth. Because you know what? If Americans were exposed to truth instead of propaganda from horrible outfits like OANN and Newsmax, Biden would have broken the hundred million votes mark.
He would have. Sure, 40 million Americans are white supremacists, which makes me utterly sick, but I'm guessing about 30 to 35 million of those 74 million votes that were cast for Trump were cast by people who don't think about presidential elections until the week of, and then vote how they have always voted in the past without taking the trouble to look into the actual issues, and into what each candidate has actually done (as opposed to what they say).
Maybe, just maybe if a) we had a Fairness Doctrine that caused more Americans to be exposed to the actual truth, and b) if we had some better civics education in elementary, middle, and high schools, we would have a more perfect union.

Funny, they don't seem to have that same sentiment when it comes to choice on abortion.
