Vice President Mike Pence has been a go-to fundraising draw for the presidents campaign, and since October, no more than a day passed without his name emblazoning a fundraising email for the Trump re-elect.
But that changed late last month. Since Nov. 25, not a single fundraising email from the Trump campaign or its Republican National Committee fundraising account has featured Pences name in the from field. And this week, that Republican National Committee joint fundraising committee, the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, made another subtle change: a handful of its emails swapped out the official Trump-Pence campaign logo for one featuring just the presidents name.

At first blush, those may seem like minor tweaks to gimmicky portions of Team Trumps fundraising strategy. A source familiar with the process said the fundraising emails do not go to Vice President Pences team for clearance and an RNC official said the digital team was merely testing a new logo around the end-of-the-month deadline. Indeed, some of the joint fundraising committees emails this week have included the original campaign logo with Pences name below Trumps.

But several high-level sources say that the graphics change, along with Pences disappearance from the headers of President Donald Trumps increasingly frantic and conspiratorial pleas, are not actually coincidental. According to four people with knowledge of the matter, they reflect an effort by the vice president and his team to distance Pence from some of the presidents more outlandish claims about a conspiracy to undermine the election and illegally deny him a second term in office.

(179,870 posts)For this to happen, trump would have to listen the attorneys who are telling him that self pardons do not work. I believe that trump will ignore anyone who tells him that self pardons do not work

(26,020 posts)turned the presidency over to Pence for a pardon and Pence did not give it or give the presidency back to Trump? If Pence used the opportunity to 25 Trump?
OK, that will never happen, but it would be hillarious to see.
I don't think Trump would turn it over to Pence for a pardon. Trump is too distrustful and paranoid, especially now, to give up control of the office.
I do think he might try to use Congressional challenges when Congress meets to count the EC votes. It's the only thing he's got left. Besides making money off of the donations from his followers, the hope of Congressional challenges might explain why he continues trying to sell the voter fraud story.

Politically, you are BANKRUPT...
You blew out another casino, this one was even harder to fuck up than your previous 5 or 6 or however many you ruined...
This time the voters are the BANKS, and they too have decided to NO LONGER EXTNED CREDIT to your worthless ass.
And, now the voters is also including your source of last resort in the past - Russian gangsters.
If I were you, I'd be pretty fucking manic too right about now...and avoid getting anywhere near high windows you might fall through.
