considering that Mr. and myself never received the first one.

We tried to track it down online. Gov. insisted that we had received it.

We tried again, filling our a provided form, and sent it in . It was returned to sender.... address unknown.

3. The Republicans see a successful strategy to do everything possible to wreck

Biden's economy. Mc would love to see mass evictions and foreclosures on Biden's watch. It would be better for Republicans if unemployment increased and the stock market tanked. If that happens it would work to secure Republican victories in two years.

It was a horrible economy that cemented the German Fascists rise to power. Mc is looking to protect businesses who failed to protect their employees, he wants nothing more. He and his cohorts want to see you broke and desperate, while business waits out the economy sitting on massive amounts of cash. It is just good business.

There are some evil bastards in high political positions in the US government.

9. Something similar happened to my wife

There were three ways the stimulus money was delivered to Americans. The first was direct deposit to your checking account. If the IRS does not have your banking information (routing number, account number, etc.), there were two other ways to get people the $1,200.

First was an actual check mailed to your residence. This would also include a letter from Trump taking credit for giving you the money. If your money was directly deposited, Trump still sent you a letter. (I taped mine to the back of the toilet seat and for the first time since I was a little boy, I consistently missed the bowl!)

Second was a debit card that was mailed to you. For some reason, my wife's payment was returned to the issuing bank. She had to track down the bank which was about an hour's drive away, then and a manager who was authorized to have a new card express mailed to her. The card arrived the next day.

Could your money be in a debit card somewhere? Apparently, the three methods of distribution were determined partly by which IRS processing center people were assigned to.

5. Not even a possibility unless we win the Senate

Personally, I think some people voted for Trump precisely because they realized that if he lost, McConnell would go on a four-year economic vandalization spree.

All the money that was inappropriately handed out to big business, and those struggling can’t have a check during a raging pandemic? And last time the cost was over $200 billion. Not a ton in our economy. You would think it would be of urgency. Of course, knowing Repukes, they are the problem. I am hoping it gets passed under Biden no matter what.

8. BS. The House passed several bills. The Senate won't consider them. Only one party doesn't care.

payment than the 600, I believe 300. No 12k stimulus.

There are now a number of Rep senators on board and McConnell is still saying no way.

Biden said yesterday this was a start, and more is needed and would be done when he got in but for mow, this is taking care of the immediate problems of people being kicked of UI Dec 26. I imagine they want to shoot out a check for all as soon as Biden gets into office.

12. I believe a new round of stimulous payments is simply off the table.

Keep in mind, that back when the first and only checks were approved, everyone, meaning everyone who wasn't really paying attention to this disease, thought it would all be over by July or so, and everything would go back to exactly what it was before. Congressional Republicans are apparently still convinced it's essentially over, and honestly can't understand why all the restaurants and gyms and small candy stores haven't re-opened. Plus, they're getting their regular paycheck.

No matter what scenario you envision, things will never be as they were last year at this time.
