Talked to my son tonight. e really doesnt believe this virus is any worse than the flu!

Fauci is part of the scam because he spoke at a college graduation & predicted Trump was going to be faced with a pandemic during his Presidency. It's possible China was trying to reduce the world population by introducing this virus. e said heo's taking precautions by wearing a maskwhen out & about, but he & his wife went out to dinner on Monday to celebrate his B-Day.

He's 51 yo & very smart. He has a very responsible job & mostly always is a very common sense individual. I don't understand why he doesn't see any reality. His brother, only 3 years younger, believes the exact opposite.

"I work with a guy who knows Fauci, &

China was trying to reduce the world population by introducing this virus.

That's why it targets people over child-bearing age.

I hope your son is OK, despite the lapse on his b'day.

It isn't heart disease or cancer, it's Covid-19. The countermeasures (self-isolation, hand washing, and masks) are simple, safe, effective, and CHEAP. But only if you follow them.

You cannot claim he is “very smart” and also tell us that he thinks COVID is no worse than the flu and that Dr. Fauci is “in on the scam.” Those are mutually exclusive.

The propaganda if you are exposed to it over a long period of time.

My older daughter early 40's, is manager of car dealership with 300 employees under her, very organized and smart on her job. But pays zero attention to the news or facts and has been surrounded last 20 years by republicans at work and last few years she joined them.

She also like person who started this wears a mask if out but believes its like a flu and goes to places and get togethers I wouldn't.

I have been glad lately she works so many hours with forced mask wearing.

I keep hoping if she won't listen to me she will her sister she is close to, my younger daughter lives the military life with husband and is moderate dem.

Havens Garden in Lynd, Minnesota (in the low populated southwest part of the state).

Governor Walz ordered partial shutdown of bars/restaurants on effective November 13 (10 pm closing times and the physical bars themselves to be closed - people can still be served food and alcohol who are seated at tables).

And then he ordered all bars and restaurants closed period effective Saturday November 21 (2 weeks ago).

But they've defied all that. Have gotten their food service license suspended by Southwest Health and Human Services Department on November 27, and a letter from Attorney General Keith Ellison on November 23, but no matter. They haven't had a liquor license since October 2019, but no matter, They remain open and maybe still serves alcohol (I can't find anything in their self-presentation about alcohol, but one recent review had "classic cocktails" ).

They've become a darling of the right wing, been on Fox, and a lot of right-wing kooks on their Facebook page, but fortunately there's some pushback.

This article from December 4:
    https://www.marshallindependent.com/news/local-news/2020/12/they-want-me-to-comply/

Minnesota ranked number one in the U.S. Saturday morning with the highest per capita number of new cases, 7 day moving average (I just looked at it now and Minnesota is #2 after Rhode Island at the moment).

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/coronavirus-us-cases.html

and Lyon County, where this restaurant/bar/whatever is located, is even worse in that metric (148 per 100k people per day) than the Minnesota average (104 per 100k people per day).

Based on age distribution we can predict how many deaths there will be, given prior death rates. This year the actual number of deaths is 300,000 higher than normal. It isn’t suicide. That rate isn’t higher. Experts say it isn’t people foregoing other medical care.

poliotics. On everything else we mostly agree, and respect each others opinions. As to why he's become such a Pub, I blame it on the Navy. He was activge duty for 17 years. His political opinions seemed to originate in boot camp. I remember visiting him in Chicago when he graduated. He took us for a tour of the facility, and on the wall as we went down some stairs were pictures of all the Presidents. Whem we passed the pic of the President at that tijme, Bill Clinton, I made admiring comment. He started to disagree but stopped & said never mind, yes he's our Commander In Chief. I have no idea why, but I've met quite a few military who all are
Pubs.
