The officer was hospitalized.

And yet Presti wasn’t shot. Interesting.

Those people have nothing but contempt for cops unless those cops are beating or shooting brown people. They don't really accept any authority at all as legitimate. These people think America should be like a Western movie, with each person a law unto himself. They're libertarian to the extreme, the self-educated (on the internet) version of a libertarian, and the more I see of them the more I think that they're hopeless. The only cure for them is to show them in a very personal way how they are in error. I just hope the rest of us don't get dragged down in the process.
