These R's who enabled tRump all along yet now claim some type of moral high ground are amongst the worst. Their fake news timing says volumes. Fuck off, you knowingly chose to damage democracy.

1. I'm willing to let that go if they convert to defending the Republic.

At least they did something versus the cowards in Congress.

The worst are either actively trying to subvert our democracy or else willing to look the other way while others attempt to do so.

3. They know that these are their elections too.

They know that the reason Democrats lose elections is because there's infighting, disillusionment (which the Republicans have fomented), voter suppression (which the Republicans have championed). They are very, very afraid that they're going to lose their cushy government jobs and government positions (Republicans own the vast majority of local government jobs and state legislatures).

Trumpism is sowing seeds of doubts in the very systems that got him put into the job. The beer drinking conservatives. The porn watching conservatives. The sex offender conservatives. The secret abortion, drug using, welfare receiving conservatives.

Note they've always been there. They're not new. They just project "hard working" while they sit in cushy government jobs. They project "family values" while they vote down SNAP and welfare for single mothers. They project "criminal justice" while their communities have opoid epidemics.

They are true hypocrites and Trump is the emperor with no clothes, the man behind the curtain, and they are very very afraid.
