i just learned that one of the residents in my apartment building has c19

damn u trump. she went out last nite by ambulance and came home today and is self isolating. a friend on that side has no immune system and is self isoing for 14 days. however the person who told my friend is part of a gossip crew.

It's also possible this person took an ambulance because they had no other way to the hospital. if you're having breathing problems, and a car, or a spouse who can drive you, yeah, you might opt to do that. But no car? No one to drive you to the hospital (especially if you suspect you're positive with COVID, who'd want to put another person at risk?), and the ambulance is your only ride there.

Then if you get to the hospital, and they find that you're not critical, they may just give you oxygen and send you home, saying if it progressively worsens, come back.

Sucks that's the reality we're in but hospitals are not going to admit people that aren't close to death like they may have done a year ago.

knob, the garbage chute handle and the elevator buttons 2 times a day. I know others are doing it on other floors too.

I also keep a fan blowing fresh air into the apartment all night and intermittently through the day. Getting a lot of use out of the sweaters I never used to wear!

Take the stairs when you can and never go out of your unit without a mask.

Gossip crew or no, treat this like it's true.

i do. very seriously. my county is code purple , and 1180 cases with 12 deaths so far. i curse the mask slackers .
