That's not what's important to me. This nation is what's important to me. Your tears couldn't mean less to me; they are valueless. I have no insatiable thirst for the tears of people who don't vote like me. My mind doesn't work like that. Which is to say: my mind works.

I voted for Joe Biden, not to make you cry, but because I believe he wants what's best for everyone in the nation, regardless of whether they voted for him or not. He's experienced, competent, compassionate, courageous, and the right man at the right time.

If you are going to cry in front of me because we voted Trump out of our house, I'm not going to drink your tears with great enjoyment. I'm not going to drink them at all. I'm going to tell you to dry your eyes, stop sniveling, grow up, and learn the difference between public service and a reality TV performance.

My go to answer which seems to infuriate them. “You will have many peaceful nights sleep, if you worked in the Trump administration you will never again have a peaceful nights sleep and will need to watch your back as long as you live.”
