Melinda Coleman, mother of Daisy Coleman, dead

The news is from mutual friends. Last night she committed suicide.

Daisy made international headlines after a sexual assault and harassment in Maryville,MO. Her story became the subject of a documentary on Netflix called Audrie and Daisy. She committed suicide in August.

Tristen, the youngest, was killed in a car accident in 2018. Their father died the same way nearly a decade earlier.

This family has been through too much.

Gawd how the parents of those boys (and community sycophants that supported them while tormenting the families of these girls) can live with themselves is just inexplicable to me.

Karma can't come soon enough.

RIP, Daisy, Melinda and peace come to her family

Not too far from there was the Skidmore Bully case, where the town bully was shot on a main street with a crowd yet no one saw it. It was later turned into a book and tv movie called In Broad Daylight.

Their sister's death.

Sexual assault can damage far more than one or two people and this family is the unfortunate proof.
