Today is the anniversary of the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack that took the US to war.

If something similar were to happen in 2020 America, there would not be the self-sacrifice that enabled us to defeat the Axis powers. Half our current population would refuse the draft and rationing because of 'freedom'. They would be rooting for the strong authoritarian to win.

Having lost 2 uncles in battles in Europe, facing the Nazis, I am ashamed of the US now. They died for nothing. Trumpism has destroyed everything here.
