Every form of evil contains the seeds of its own destruction.

I seriously have to wonder: If Trump hadn't conceived the idea of becoming President to wreak revenge on President Obama for roasting Trump at the Foreign Correspondent's Dinner, what would he be doing today?

He probably wouldn't be grasping at straws for dear life to keep himself out of prison. He would probably be dreaming up another business disaster to paste his name on; Trump Chicken Livers. Trump Muscatel. TrumPillow. Who the fuck knows? But he probably wouldn't have made his sleazy, shady, and illegal business deals plain for everyone to see. If a narcissist is doing something he doesn't want people to know about, he shouldn't seek public attention so avidly...

The idea that if only Obama hadn't roasted him he wouldn't have run is a right wing "blame Obama" meme.

It's a 'Trump is such a big baby, he couldn't take a little gentle ribbing from the best President of my lifetime' meme.

Barack Obama is not to blame; Trump is.

Here's the thing: if he and his entire cult are not held accountable, prosecuted, and dare I say before any verdicts come in, INCARCERATED, it will be almost as bad as his getting reelected.

All it will do is inoculate and embolden the next drumpf!!

It was a stunt to advance his "brand" and maybe grift a bunch of money from supporters as he's doing now.

Once he was in office, though, he fell in love with the power it gave him.

"Prepare for every possible outcome" is not a bad motto for risk-taking business types.
