"SNIP.....

Senate Republicans are already preparing their talking points against Xavier Becerra, who will be nominated as President-elect Joe Biden’s health secretary, the Washington Post reports.

“A senior Republican aide on Capitol Hill said Sunday night that the GOP plans to focus on Becerra’s support for Medicare-for-all and whether he truly has expertise in health-care policy.”

......SNIP"

Remember Trump hired cabinet members who were against the government agencies they were nominated to lead. Look for the GOP to attack Biden's best qualified and gravitas cabinet nominees.

Congressional Republicans will have a Medicare-for-all plan for the rest of their lives at our expense when they leave office. See what their response will be like then when that is thrown back at them.

The Health 202: Xavier Becerra has been defending the ACA in court. Now he could manage it.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra stepped in to defend Obamacare when the Trump administration refused to do so.

President-elect Joe Biden announced this morning he is nominating Becerra (D) — who has little health policy experience but has emerged as the nation’s defender of the Affordable Care Act — to helm the 80,000-employee agency that manages Healthcare.gov, regulates prescription drugs and oversees the government’s sweeping Medicare and Medicaid insurance programs.

Basically, Becerra is a tough legal match for the Repubs.
They will hit him on anything giving fair health care to the public.

Becerra's stellar record on the ACA is why they will do everything & accuse him of anything, to keep him away from the power of the HHS.

Their #1 game plan is discrediting a threat with propaganda.

I don’t care what they think. If they don’t like it they can eat shit and die.
Four fucking years without any accountability is what they have on their resumes.

What they think or say matters not.

They have forfeited their privilege to govern for at least a generation.
