Can anything be done to monitor what RUMP does with the so called 270 million and growing dollars? For that matter ALL his money from the last 4 years he was given? Who would be the ones watching what he does with his money? TY in advance.

(12,344 posts)FEC is toothless and doesn't have a quorum right now, but if they get a quorum again, they can refer violations to DOJ. Don't hold your breath though, this could take years to work through. We really need legislation to catch these problems when they occur, not 5 years later.

(94,489 posts)It's not TRUMP's money. It's the PACs money. And every penny needs to be accounted for. Now, he can certainly spend money on his own hotels or restaurants, but he can't just hide it in his pocket.

Pardons don't cover civil actions (including any civil actions by the FEC).

It's not my money, though, so whatever he does with it won't bother me much. It's more likely to amuse me.
