Gotta ask this here of the smart people here. (this is for AFTER Jan. 20th.)

Can anything be done to monitor what RUMP does with the so called 270 million and growing dollars? For that matter ALL his money from the last 4 years he was given? Who would be the ones watching what he does with his money? TY in advance.

FEC is toothless and doesn't have a quorum right now, but if they get a quorum again, they can refer violations to DOJ. Don't hold your breath though, this could take years to work through. We really need legislation to catch these problems when they occur, not 5 years later.

It's not TRUMP's money. It's the PACs money. And every penny needs to be accounted for. Now, he can certainly spend money on his own hotels or restaurants, but he can't just hide it in his pocket.

" has exclusive jurisdiction over the civil enforcement of the federal campaign finance law."

Considering possible election law violations

Enforcement cases can come from audits, complaints, referrals or self-submissions:

Audits: The agency’s monitoring process may detect potential violations through a review of a committee’s reports or through a Commission audit.
Complaints: Potential violations may be brought to the Commission’s attention through the complaint process. This process enables anyone to file a sworn complaint alleging violations and explaining the basis for the allegations.
Referrals: The referral process enables other government agencies to refer possible violations to the FEC.
Self-submissions: Any person or entity who believes it has committed a violation may bring the matter sua sponte to the Commission’s attention.

The DOJ handles criminal violations of federal election law.

but not for crimes you commit after the pardon is issued.

Pardons don't cover civil actions (including any civil actions by the FEC).

the FBI to investigate that. I'm sure people a lot smarter than I am could come up with sound legal reasons for such an investigation. Maybe other agencies could be involved as well.

I'd like to see his base get offended about what he does with it, but that's not going to happen. Nothing that OrangeLOSER does offends them.

It's not my money, though, so whatever he does with it won't bother me much. It's more likely to amuse me.
