Trump has no problem stealing from the military to purchase a grossly over-priced and non functioning wall, but he pinches pennies when it comes to a potentially life saving vaccine? I used the word “potentially” because at the time Trump was urged to order another 100 million doses the results of the trials weren’t known. The way I read the contract for the 100 million doses was that it was based on the vaccine meeting a certain level of efficacy. Why not order 100 million more under those conditions?

I think one of the reasons Trump didn’t order more is he was still in denial about how wide the spread COVID would be and how many deaths there would be. As usual, not capable of seeing beyond 5 minutes of time.
