Stimulus checks for the general public.

I've become fairly sure those will not be repeated even if the democratic party gains the small Senate majority that is tentatively in reach as it really seems to be a hill Republican want to die on.

Hell, IIRC, there were a good number of GOPers that were against the original Stimulus arguing either that was too expensive and/or that it would disincentivize Poors from the working on any pitiful job they could get out of sheer desperation (same for boosted unemployment!) and thus breed laziness among the serfs

While trump claimed the opposite, lying saying he wanted everything bigger, before the election. All another scam because if he wanted checks he would have rave and ranted for them with attacks against members of Congress to get them, and he didn't. It was all for show before the election. Now its no problem, no checks. The Democrats wanted like other countries have done successfully with a $2000 check every month, republicans refused.

And now the sticking point is corporate liability and money to local government. Unfortunately "no problem, no check" appears to be the solution that's been settle on. I've barely heard the subject mentioned in a great deal of the discussion and reporting on 'relief' bill negotiation.
