If I see a post here on DU that I suspect will have a tweet in it I won't even bother to open the thread.
Their reasoning or lack of reasoning for the GOP Arizona suicide pacts is the reason.

I am not registered on twitter, nor will I be, but I simply bookmark some of their internet twitter feeds.
I still consider it a resource if used judiciously.

(59,147 posts)That is up until about 10 minutes ago. My stance may not mean diddly squat to most but I am standing on principle on this issue. As long as social media company don't have a clear TOS, They will be able to get away with anything.

(36,631 posts)You and some others here showed me that there are worthwhile, potentially global, conversations on twitter among people who know what they're talking about. This is not a replacement for journalists, but journalists are not original sources like many of the tweets are.
