Would Trump try to game individual justices on SCOTUS???

If he contacted them and pressured them, how would we know?

Would Alito (or any of them) squeal?

They have their lifetime appointments, and it's probably easier to unseat a Pope than a SCOTUS judge!

For instance, the fear of information Trump may have on them (via Barr or otherwise) being made public.

I would think Justices play more of a long game, then I remind myself of the clowns that are on the court now.

Not sure if he got through. I think anyone who participates in this coup attempt ought to be censored at the very least up to being removed from their positions. This is unacceptable in a democracy.

and isn't it frowned upon in legal circles. He has anything to say about a case, he can say it in open court.

In his mind everything is transactional, and he surely believes that the justices he appointed think the same way he does - that they believe they owe him their jobs and will handle his cases accordingly. Of course they don't have to do anything of the kind, and the fact that they dumped the PA case yesterday should be a warning to him. I don't think any of them want to issue opinions that even suggest any kind of quid pro quo, and Roberts in particular seems eager to protect the court's image of independence. But we probably won't know whether Trump has tried to pressure any of them unless and until somebody retires and writes his/her memoirs.
