Obviously I’m watching it on DVR (I had to go mail some gifts at the P.O.)

This is a piece of must-watch TV for the history books. I can’t do it justice in a written post. But seriously, anyone who can watch this 20 minutes and still think TLP will be back in the GOP camp after Biden gets sworn in has put their head where the sun does not shine.

6. Yes, TY. I thought there was more, for some reason, but his intensity is jaw-dropping. ....

This is an actual war to him — that is, the GOP has declared war on American democracy, and if the rest of us don’t respond with the seriousness this deserves, we will lose our republic.

I don’t think he has paused for a moment since he sat in the darkened RNC convention center after listening to the American Carnage speech. I don’t think the man ever smiles.

The second time she went to him was the one where he was really on fire, calling on everyone from AOC to Biden and all of us to continue the fight for American democracy. It was scary but also inspiring. I'll see if I can find it.

8. Thanks, I'll be checking it out. You're right, of course. The GOP

had become overrun with corruption and increasingly authoritarian and extremist before Trump. They rejected that. But this isn't an either the GOP or the Democrats thing for them at all. They retain the principled conservatism that has been purged from the GOP and are proud of it.

No matter what happens in the future. When it mattered, they stood tall.
