I believe Trump has set a precedent by attempting...

...to overturn this election, and it will happen again.

It'll happen again because to any observer there are no repercussions for going behind the scenes and petitioning republicans to invalidate votes from democratic leaning areas. Indeed, the court system so far is the only firewall between us and an appointed dictatorship.

If a candidate had the foresight to lay the groundwork before the election it would be very possible to disenfranchise millions to achieve a win, regardless the vote. Someone running for the senate in Pennsylvania could get party officials to toss votes in Philli and Pittsburgh. Throw out the presumed fraudulent votes in Cuyahoga County in Ohio, or void East LA and San Fran.

All one has to do is set up the legislature or courts in any state to craft a win before the election. Bribe them with trips and money if necessary. What do they have to lose?

A laughable attempt at overturning an election isn't setting a precedent. It's no more trend-setting than the laughable conspiracy theories the attempt is based on. It changes nothing.

Who could have foreseen that at any other time in history?

Nobody ever had the nerve to try, but now we know it can't hurt to try, and eventually it'll work.

behind them. That's the insanity of it. I do understand their fear of not having the Anglo-Saxon country they so want, and that this might be their last chance. I don't know how other countries deal with this coup shit. Guess it might be worth looking into. Maybe it becomes normal.

more and more bolden each year. This is much worse each election. We now see it it even with local elections. What precautions can be taken to stop them from pulling this off? It’s just a matter of time.
