I don't think it's about both sides. I think the Republicans are pushing conspiracy theories not the Democrats.
The director of the film wants to say that both sides that he calls Left and Right are in separate media bubbles. Maybe for poor critical thinkers but I think most of us are able to determine truth vs lie. Problem with the Right - they're not interested in that determination.

I don't think this social media thing has been good for our society. I love the internet, wifi, and computers but it seems to have made us a dumber nation or maybe it has just exposed it more. Something is just wrong with our current society. It's fucked up.
