Mitch McConnell doesn't even want to send relief to health care workers

By Donna Provencher -December 9, 2020 5:44 PM

Hospitals nationwide are in desperate financial straits, short-staffed, and running out of beds.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is holding up talks on a bipartisan bill that could include badly needed aid for hard-hit hospitals around the country with demands that Democrats give up state and local relief funding before he'll let the Senate vote on it.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for talks on the developing framework for a $908 billion COVID relief package that would include $35 billion for hospitals.

The initial summary of the bill did not include stimulus checks for individuals, though negotiations continue on that front.

The bill would, however, extend unemployment benefits currently set to run out in December, with those who have lost their jobs receiving $300 a week in benefits for 16 weeks — about half what they previously received.

I have an idea #Moscow Mitch, since you like to play fucking games with taxpayers money, that you get a salary from, I think maybe that a bill should be passed for assholes like you to feel the austerity thing. I think that when a resolution for funding our government gets kicked down the road lets say 8 months like you did and you all by yourself adjourned the body and took three recess vacations that you lose those months pay, until a bill is passed, then you would have lost 18,5000 per month in free taxpayer funds that you are paid......................how does that sound asshole.............you should be recalled...............if the people in Kentucky have such a thing...........

My God that man is as cruel and vile as they come.

Or he could just do us all a favor and die already.

I wish I understood their grand plan, because, if it succeeds, there won't be an America anymore. It will devolve and there will be war between the states.
